Naturally I wouldn't agree with this, but I do, I used shorteners back then, I don't use them now, but I still find other developers making use of them, I think it should be up to them if they really make a difference in terms of earnings. I mostly make my textures for fun, which Is why I don't use shorteners.
I think if they're going to keep accepting shorteners, then let them do a WHITELIST and a BLACKLIST of accepted shorteners.
In this way we will avoid unnecessary problems, in my humble opinion.
I respectively disagree, ad links should be removed. Also to whoever said removing would make the site less secure in the comments, that makes no sense.

I find link shorteners a good way to earn money for kids who aren't spoiled and just want to make a buck.

Complete Disagreement and here is why:
Shorteners are often unsafe and misleading
They often come with malware or viruses and/or issues
Plus payment isn't too great, the rewards program in theory should be better for all creators!
If they remove the shorteners, they will lose benefits for many creators and consequently a lower contribution to the content.
